CALL FOR ALL AGD MEMBERS
* BIG BREAK VISITOR CENTER ART EXHIBIT *
Dear Members of the Art Guild of the Delta,
You are invited to submit your 2D artwork to be shown in an AGD ONLY* exhibit entitled “Wonders of the Wetland 2025” at the Big Break Visitor Center (69 Big Break Road, Oakley, CA 94561).
Exhibition Dates: June 4th through August 3rd, 2025
This is a terrific opportunity for you to showcase your work in a very public environment. Note that the Visitor Center is currently open from 10 to 4 pm from Wednesday through Sunday. Artwork will be hung from display panels that face the outer windows between the doors. Artwork may also be hung on the reverse side of the panels for display when the Center is open. Artwork will not be sold at the visitor center, but the public may contact you about sales using information provided and on display at the center.
This is a fundraiser for AGD. The entry fees for the exhibit are $10 per item (up to 3 items per artist). Money raised will go toward scholarships for local high school art students.

After completing your entry form and payment, please send a photo of each entry to the exhibit coordinator, Frank Littman at FrankLittmanArt@gmail.com
Setup Date: June 3rd between 1 and 3 PM at Big Break Visitor Center.
Takedown Date: August 4th between 1 and 3 pm
Notes: Artists are asked to deliver / remove their artwork and help with the setup / takedown of the exhibit. Those artists who cannot deliver or pick up their artwork on the specified dates can contact Frank Littman for other arrangements.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES BELOW:
· Theme – “Wonders of the Wetlands 2025” includes:
Shorebirds and waterfowl
Raptors- Hawks
Marsh ecology/ecosystems
Rivers and streams
Freshwater
Delta
Marsh or wetland landscapes
Ponds
Insects: Butterflies/bees and other pollinators
Marsh plant life: Tule, bulrush, willows
Impact of climate change or restoration projects on the Delta
· Artwork width – 20 inches or less (unframed width).
· 2D work must be wired for hanging above the top one-third of the piece with sufficient gauge wire. No saw tooth hangers or screw eyes that do not allow work to hang flat are permitted. Damaged, cracked, ill-prepared works or work with unstable frames will not be accepted.
· Works with unprotected surfaces that smear or damage easily will not be accepted.
· Work must be original.
· All work must be labeled on the back with the artist’s name, title, medium, and phone number
· Artwork must remain on exhibit for the duration of the show unless sold by the artist.
· Work must be appropriate for all audiences (no nudity permitted).

· Neither AGD nor East Bay Regional Park District provides insurance for artwork displayed in the Community Center.
